Description

BioRelease™ is a next-generation microbial inoculant engineered to speed up the natural decomposition of crop residues, compost, and organic waste. Powered by a diverse consortium of beneficial bacteria and fungi, it rapidly converts dead organic matter into nutrient-rich humus — revitalizing soil life, fertility, and structure.By breaking down tough, carbon-rich materials such as corn stalks and straw, BioRelease™ transforms otherwise unavailable nutrients into plant-accessible forms, improving fertilizer efficiency, root vigor, and soil productivity. Its synergistic blend of microbes, organic acids, and natural food sources recycles unprofitable carbon into valuable nutrition for plants.

Why It Matters

Managing crop residue is one of modern agriculture’s biggest challenges. BioRelease™ tackles it with a multi-pronged microbial approach that mirrors nature’s decomposition cycle — but much faster.
Each microbial strain plays a unique role:

  • Cellulose degraders break down fibrous stalks
  • Lignin decomposers target hard, woody residues
  • Chitin degraders help reduce fungal and insect remnants

Together, they form a high-performance decomposition team that turns residue into stable humus — leading to cleaner fields, richer soils, and healthier crops.

How It Works

BioRelease™ introduces a specialized community of microbial decomposers that immediately begin digesting cellulose, lignin, and other complex organics.
These beneficial microbes also:

  • Fix Atmospheric Nitrogen – naturally enrich soil nitrogen
  • Solubilize Phosphorus – unlock bound phosphorus for plant use
  • Chelate Micronutrients – enhance the uptake of Fe, Zn, Mn, and Cu

The result: faster residue breakdown, improved soil microbiology, and enhanced nutrient cycling — setting the stage for a productive next season.

BioRelease™

Advanced Bio Compost Decomposer

A high-potency, multi-strain microbial inoculant specifically formulated to optimize the soil biome.

Key Benefits

Rapid decomposition of crop residues and compost

Unlocks NutrientsBuilds humus and boosts long-term soil fertility

Improves soil structure, aeration, and moisture retention

Reduces pest and pathogen survival in residues

Enhances nutrient efficiency and plant vigor

Safe, organic, and compatible with all cropping systems

Application Guidelines

  • Rate: 32 fl. oz. to 1 gallon per acre
  • Timing: Apply soon after harvest, during composting, or throughout the growing season
  • Compatibility: Mixable with fertilizers, biostimulants, and soil conditioners

For best results, apply during tillage, chopping, or compost turning to ensure full residue contact.

The Smart Microbes™ Advantage

At Smart Microbes, we believe that healthy soil grows healthy crops.
Our advanced microbial technologies rebuild soil biology, reduce chemical dependency, and restore natural productivity — creating lasting value for both the farmer and the land.

The Synergistic Science of
Rapid Residue Breakdown

In nature, decomposition is a slow process — it depends on a small, native population of microbes working at their own pace. BioRelease™ changes that dynamic by introducing a high-density, purpose-built microbial consortium that supercharges the breakdown process.

At the heart of BioRelease™ is precision strain selection and biological synergy:

  • Phanerochaete chrysosporium – a renowned white-rot fungus capable of degrading lignin, one of the toughest natural polymers found in crop residues.
  • Trichoderma species – powerful decomposers of cellulose and hemicellulose that also parasitize pathogenic fungi, helping cleanse the soil of disease pressure.
  • Bacillus consortium – fast-acting bacterial strains that deliver intense enzymatic activity, accelerating decomposition and dominating the soil microbiome
  • Streptomyces – filamentous actinomycetes that produce natural antibiotics, suppressing harmful microbes and promoting a healthy microbial balance.

Together, these specialized organisms form a complete decomposition team, each targeting a specific component of crop residue — lignin, cellulose, chitin, and other complex organics. Working in harmony, they dramatically accelerate organic matter conversion into stable humus, enriching soil structure, boosting nutrient cycling, and restoring biological vitality from the ground up.
